Roofing, Siding & Decks

Roof replacements, new-build roofing, siding, soffit, stone veneer, and decks — the exterior systems that keep a home tight and the outdoor spaces you actually live in.

Roofing & Decks

The shell that protects everything else.

Your roof and siding are the home's raincoat — the system that keeps everything you built underneath it dry, warm, and standing. Your deck is the other half of the exterior: the place you actually live in once the weather turns nice. When they're done right you never think about them; when they're done cheap, you find out the hard way during the first wind-driven rain or the first wobbly step. We treat the exterior as one connected system, not a pile of separate parts, because that's how water — and trouble — finds its way in.

  • Full roof replacements & re-roofs
  • New-construction & metal roofing
  • Proper flashing, underlayment & venting
  • Lap, board-and-batten & panel siding
  • Soffit, fascia & gutter systems
  • Stone veneer over correct moisture barriers
  • Decks on frost-depth footings
  • Composite, pressure-treated & hardwood decking
Roofing, Siding & Decks
01

Roofing that's built in layers, not just shingles.

A roof is a system: decking, ice-and-water shield at the eaves and valleys, synthetic underlayment, proper flashing at every penetration, ridge venting, and then the shingles or metal on top. Skip the flashing details and the best shingles in the world will still leak. We handle full roof replacements, new-build roofing, and metal — installed in the right order, nailed to spec, and detailed where the leaks actually start: the valleys, the chimney, the wall transitions.

Siding, soffit, and the details that keep it dry.

Lap siding, board-and-batten, vertical panel — siding sets the whole look of the house, but its real job is shedding water. That comes down to the layers behind it: house wrap, proper flashing over windows and doors, and clean trim work where everything meets. We install siding, soffit, fascia, and gutters as a package so the wall, the roof edge, and the drainage all work together instead of fighting each other.

Stone veneer that anchors the whole look.

Nothing dresses up an exterior like real stone veneer on a foundation, a column, or a full accent wall — but it's also where a lot of installs go wrong and trap water against the house. We install veneer over the right moisture barrier and lath, with weep screeds and proper flashing, so it looks like it grew there and keeps the wall behind it dry. Done right, it's the detail that makes the whole home look custom.

Decks built to be lived on for years.

A deck takes more abuse than almost anything else on the house — sun, rain, snow load, and the whole family standing in one corner at a cookout. We build decks on footings set below the frost line, with properly sized beams and joists, ledger flashing that keeps water off the house, and hidden fasteners or hardware rated for the decking you choose. Pressure-treated, composite, or hardwood, with railings and stairs that meet code and feel solid underfoot — a deck should still be rock-steady a decade after the last screw goes in.

Let's talk about your project.

How It Works

From first call to finished work.

01

Inspect

We get up on the roof and over the walls to find what's actually going on — not just what shows from the ground.

02

Scope & quote

A clear plan and an honest number, including the flashing and prep work that cheap bids leave out.

03

Tear off & install

Strip down to a sound surface, fix what we find, and install the system in the right order, weather-tight.

04

Clean up

We magnet-sweep for nails and haul off every scrap. You shouldn't be finding our debris in the yard for months.

Good to Know

Questions
we hear a lot.

Should I repair my roof or replace it?
If the damage is localized and the roof has years left, a repair makes sense. If you're patching the same areas repeatedly or the shingles are at the end of their life, replacement is usually the better money. We'll get up there, give you an honest look, and not sell you a roof you don't need yet.
Do you do both roofing and siding on the same job?
Yes, and it's often smarter to. The roof edge, flashing, and siding all tie together, so handling them as one project means the transitions are done right and you're not coordinating two different crews.
How long does a roof replacement take?
Most homes are a one-to-three-day job depending on size, pitch, and how many layers come off. We keep an eye on the forecast and won't tear off more than we can get dried in before weather rolls through.
Should I go with composite or wood decking?
Both have a place. Composite costs more up front but barely needs maintenance and won't splinter or rot; pressure-treated and hardwood cost less and look great, but want sealing every couple of years. We'll walk you through the trade-offs and build whichever you choose on a frame that outlasts the boards on top of it.
