Additions & Whole-Home Remodels

Make the home you already love work harder — additions, second stories, basement build-outs, and full interior remodels.

Remodels

Keep the home. Lose the limitations.

Sometimes the right move isn't a new house — it's making the one you already have fit the life you're living now. Maybe the family grew, maybe the kitchen's stuck in 1985, maybe you just need a real primary suite. Additions and remodels let you stay in the neighborhood you love and the home that's full of memories, and come out the other side with a place that finally works.

  • Room additions & second stories
  • Basement and attic build-outs
  • Load-bearing walls opened up safely
  • Full down-to-studs interior remodels
  • Seamless match to the existing home
  • Clean, contained work in lived-in spaces

Additions that look like they were always there.

The giveaway on a bad addition is that it looks bolted on — different rooflines, mismatched siding, a floor that steps up an inch where the old house meets the new. We tie additions into the existing structure so the lines, the levels, and the materials carry through. Bump-outs, room additions, second stories, sunrooms, garages — when we're done, it reads as one home, not a house with a growth on the side.

Whole-home remodels, walls and all.

Opening up a chopped-up floor plan means knowing which walls carry load and how to take them out the right way — beams, posts, and footings sized for the job, not guessed at. We've gutted homes down to the studs and rebuilt them into something the owners barely recognize: better flow, more light, modern mechanicals, and finishes that match how they actually want to live. The bones stay; everything else gets reconsidered.

Living in it while we work.

Most remodel clients are still living in the house while we're in it — and we don't forget that. We dust-wall the work zone, keep the site picked up at the end of the day, and sequence the job so you keep a working kitchen or bathroom as long as we possibly can. It's your home, not just our jobsite, and we treat it that way until the last piece of trim goes up.

How It Works

From first call to finished work.

01

Walk the house

We come see what you've got, what's bugging you, and what's actually possible within the existing structure.

02

Design the change

We work out the new layout, structural plan, and a clear scope so you know exactly what's changing and what it costs.

03

Demo & build

Careful demo, structural work, then the rebuild — kept clean and contained around your day-to-day life.

04

Reveal

We finish, clean up, and walk it with you. The home you already loved, only better.

Good to Know

Questions
we hear a lot.

Is it cheaper to remodel or build new?
It depends on what you're trying to fix. A targeted remodel or addition is often the better value if you love your location and the home's bones are good. We'll give you an honest read — sometimes we're the ones telling you a new build makes more sense.
Can you remove a wall to open up my floor plan?
Usually, yes. The key is whether it's load-bearing, and if so, sizing the right beam and support to carry that load. We handle that engineering and structural work as part of the job so it's done correctly and to code.
Do I have to move out during the remodel?
For most projects, no. We dust-protect the work area and sequence things to keep your home livable. For a full gut renovation it's sometimes easier on everyone to stay elsewhere — we'll talk that through honestly before we start.
